Hosted by the Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area (BIA), this free, all-ages event will transform Main Street into a dynamic celebration of everything that makes our neighbourhood so special.
A Festival That Celebrates Local
Mount Pleasant & Main Street are home to some of the city’s most unique and independently owned small businesses, along with a thriving arts and music scene. The Pleasant Day Festival is a love letter to the hyper-local talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit that define the community. Whether you’re looking to discover new music, shop from local artisans, or enjoy some of the best eats in the city, this festival is the place to be!
Music Stages Curated by Mount Pleasant’s Music Hubs
Live music will be at the heart of the festival, with performances from some of BC’s best indie artists. We’ve teamed up with Neptoon Records, The Fox Cabaret and Hero’s Welcome to bring you an incredible lineup of local musicians, performing on pop-up stages and beer garden stages throughout the festival grounds. Expect an eclectic mix of genres, from indie rock to soul, funk, and electronic, as we celebrate Vancouver’s dynamic and diverse music community.
A Foodie’s Paradise
Come hungry! The Pleasant Day Festival will be packed with food trucks and local restaurants, serving up everything from mouth-watering BBQ and gourmet pizza to sweet treats and refreshing drinks. Plus, many of your favourite Mount Pleasant BIA businesses will be offering exclusive festival specials and pop-ups, so make sure to explore the neighbourhood while you’re here.
