This is to inform you of a time-sensitive matter that requires your immediate attention.
As you may be aware, the City has implemented a new policy – Development Potential Relief – which requires the property owner’s signature. A list of qualifying properties can be found here:
The properties on this list are listed by the main address of the building. You might be in a suite, or another address number, so make sure you know your main building address. The deadline for signing is March 31, 2023, and time is of the essence.
We would like to emphasize that signing the declaration does not cost the landlord anything and is actually a relief benefit for all parties involved. The relief is from the development potential of the building…specifically the air space above.
We are currently waiting on a link from the City, which we will forward to you as soon as we receive it. In the meantime, please reach out to your landlord and explain the situation. It is crucial that we work together to ensure that all businesses comply with this policy.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
