Tree Chipping 2016 brought families of Mount Pleasant together to recycle their Christmas trees for charity! January 3, 2016 – Our 7th Annual Christmas Tree Chipping Fundraiser was a sunny success bringing neighbours together to keep 246 Christmas trees out of the landfill, while helping raise $2 171 for Mount Pleasant Elementary School.

The funds will be used to complete the Community Playground, buy new furniture for the library.

Thanks to our neighbours for bringing their trees and their generous donations and to all of the PAC parents who braved the cold to help.

Thanks also to our sponsors that generously donate their time and equipment to help us, we could not pull off this event each year without their support:

Kingsgate Mall
Arbutus Tree Service
Collingwood Community Policing Centre and the Mount Pleasant Parent Advisory Council (PAC).
