While Vancouver celebrated the first ever Vancouver Mural Festival, 3 Mount Pleasant restaurants were on the grill, on 8th Aveunue, showing off their skills and treating the hood to a sausage fest. The day was hot and so were the grills but the competition was friendly and the best part was the $2085.55 raised for theGreater Vancouver Food Bank.

A big thanks to the participants that donated their time and the food as well as Cobs Bread on Main Street, who generously donated the buns, D-Original Sausage Co. for working with the restaurants to help create their secret recipes, and Frogbox for their storage bins. Thanks also to the dedicated volunteers from the Greater Vancouver Food Bank to help make the event run smoothly.
