Learn a bit about what neighbourhood houses do, the programs they have to offer, what they’ve done over the past 40 years and what’s to come in the future! MPNH open house will include activities for all ages, storytelling, entertainment and a BBQ. MPNH will also be setting up a mock parklet so you can see what their direction is with their new project, YourNH.ca! They are very excited to announce that as part of the formal presentation, Meharoon Ghani will be sharing a spoken word piece on community.
Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House’s 40th Anniversary’s open house is part of Neighbourhood House Week, May 7th to 13th, a region wide celebration aimed at informing NH communities in the lower mainland on their initiatives.
