Celebrate the End of Summer!

The Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area (MPBIA) is excited to announce another vibrant Block Party and Food Market happening on September 22 from 12-6 PM at Kingsway and 11th Avenue. This free, family-friendly event will celebrate the community’s rich culinary scene, showcasing an array of local food vendors, beverages, live music, and more.

Come and enjoy a delicious array of food offerings from some of Mount Pleasant’s favourite restaurants, including Sprezzatura, Sumibiyaki Arashi, The Farmhouse, and Mercato Di Luigi. From artisanal pasta to Japanese grill fare, Italian market delights, and farm-to-table specialties, there’s something to satisfy every palate.

The beverage garden will feature local favorites Main St. Brewing, and Humblebee Mead. Refreshments from Aperol will be available, and “Club Soda” will be serving up non-alcoholic beverages.

Alongside the food and music, guests can browse a market filled with local vendors offering unique goods and crafts. There will also be exciting giveaways and games for all ages, adding an extra layer of fun to this community celebration.

The event will feature a soundtrack provided by Mount Pleasant’s favorite local DJs, Bryan Sea and DJ Jumbotron, who will bring the vibes with a special all-vinyl set. Expect a mix of funk, soul, and eclectic beats that will keep the energy high throughout the day.
