The Mount Pleasant BIA has a well-deserved reputation for hosting great street festivals and seasonal celebrations.
We love to invite people to our community for our Best Dressed Business Halloween Competition, Christmas Wreath Competition, O Christmas Tree, Tree Chipping for Charity, and street festival events. Our winter activities bring passionate energy to Vancouver’s chilly season while the Autumn Shift Festival brings zest and zeal to your summer calendar.
Our focus evolves as opportunity arises, allowing us to partner with the Main Street Car Free Festival, Celebrate Mount Pleasant, The Drift Arts Festival on Main and with City of Vancouver initiatives. Those in the know will remember our Market 1886 Street Festivals and when VIVA Vancouver saw the laneway transformed into a pedestrian friendly night market with the grand finale being our Smoking Sausage BBQ Cook-off!

Main Street Car Free Festival

Location: Main Street (Broadway to 29th Ave.) and all over the Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area
Bring your kids, family, and friends to the wonderful Mount Pleasant community (Main Street, Broadway, Kingsway) for this fun, FREE festival. Car Free Day is 100% volunteer organized and run.
