THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE FIRST EVER VANCOUVER MURAL FESTIVAL A HUGE SUCCESS!
The Vancouver Mural Festival may be over, but our neighbourhood will forever be reminded of the it thanks to the 35 plus new, permanent murals that have transformed our community, making it brighter and more beautiful. The festival has opened doors for public art in our city and has changed how people connect with the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. The legacy of this festival is an ongoing celebration of art, the artists who create and all of the people behind the scenes who made it happen.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this festival possible and to all those who came out to help us celebrate. Thank you to our partners at the Vancouver Mural Festival including, The City of Vancouver, Burrard Arts Foundation, and Create Vancouver Society for helping us make this festival happen. Thank you to all the artists who offered their talent and transformed our neighbourhood forever. Thank you to all our sponsors and volunteers, as well as all the performers, vendors, and businesses that participated in the festival, we couldn’t have done it without you. Finally, a big thank you to everyone who came to check out the festival, we can’t wait to see you all again at next year’s Vancouver Mural Festival!
Summer may be over, which means back to business in Mount Pleasant. The fall season is the perfect time to come check out the amazing things businesses in Mount Pleasant have to offer and take a peek at the new murals in the neighbourhood. More new and exciting things will be happening in our neighbourhood soon so stay tuned!
