Tree Chipping 2013: 213 trees chipped by donation!

This year, Tree Chipping 2013, the Mount Pleasant community donated a total of 213 trees to be chipped. On Sunday, January 6, 2013,  ALL PROCEEDS from Tree Chipping 2013 were donated to the Mount Pleasant Elementary School. Thank you to community members and volunteers who helped MPBIA jump into the New Year on the right foot with our 4th annual Tree Chipping for Charity event!

Mount Pleasant families came to watch their tree chipped into re-usable pieces and enjoyed a delicious cup of free hot chocolate and cinnamon bun from Bonchaz Bakery Cafe.

As always, remember that Mount Pleasant is home to countless great places to shop, drink, eat, and more.
