In June 2016, the MPBIA implemented a trial Securiguard bike patrol program that had a trained security guard patrolling the neighbourhood from 10pm to 6am each night. As September draws to a close the MPBIA Board of Directors is reviewing the program to determine if the added security has been beneficial to our members and worth the investment.
We are asking our members, particularly those in our newly added area from 7th Avenue to 2nd Avenue along Main Street, to provide us with feedback about the program and if they saw a benefit for their business.
