Main Street Car Free Day 2015 saw more car free family fun!

Sunday, June 21st, 2015 – Main Street from Broadway to 30th Avenue was packed with free, family-friendly activities for Main Street Car Free Day 2015, an annual festival.

The day included music, shopping, games, delicious food and drinks and entertainment from around the world.

The MPBIA and Car Free Day organization are so grateful to all of the businesses that participated, entertainers that braved the heat, the guests from near and far and of course all of the dedicated volunteers that made the day run so smoothly.

Car Free Day highlights the best of our neighbourhood, bringing together artists and designers, entertainers, small business owners, community organizations and individuals committed to building a better, more livable Vancouver.

In the coming months the Car Free Day organization will be petitioning the City to redefine what events  should receive Civic Status and we will be asking for your support. Stay tuned.

If you participated in Main Street Car Free Day 2015 as a vendor of the MPBIA we would love to hear about your experience. You can fill in out online survey HERE or download a PDF and return it to our office in person or fax: 604.874.9316.
