Our Executive Director, Lynn Warwick is Retiring

It is with heavy hearts the MPBIA announces the retirement of our fearless leader, Lynn Warwick,  after 11 years of service to the Mount Pleasant business community. We will miss Lynn and her knowledge and enthusiasm for our neighbourhood but she has promised to visit often and continue to advice the MPBIA team as we move forward.

I need to let you know that, with real regret, I will be retiring from my position as Executive Director of the Mount Pleasant BIA effective May 31, 2017.

Thank you to all who have been so supportive and made my job a real pleasure for 11 memorable years.

It is the people who create a productive organization and it has been wonderful to work with your vibrant and effective Board of Directors and office staff. They share the goal of making out Mount Pleasant a progressively better and better neighbourhood in which to live, work, invest and play.

Those of you who have been part of this community for many years will truly understand the changes and transformation that I have seen in our Main Street / Mount Pleasant business community.

We should all take pride in being recognized as one of the “15 Coolest Streets in North America”, being voted Vancouver’s #1 Neighbourhood and recognized as a Best Shopping Street in the City.

We are currently recruiting and when the new Executive Director has been selected I will bring this person around to meet you.

If you know of anyone who would be a good candidate for this position, please forward a cover letter and resume to

Please take good care of yourselves and be successful in all that you do.

Warmest Wishes,

Lynn Warwick
